I completed B.E(Electrical & Electronics Engg) and I am interested in Control Systems. What is the All India Rank needed for getting into M.Tech (Control System Engg) in IIT KGP for a general category aspirant? Is this course advisable? What would be the job placements for the above?

To do M.Tech from IIT, a person has to clear GATE organized by  IIT. In GATE you will be provided with the percentile score on the basis which only will be eligible to apply for M.Tech courses in IIT’s and other Indian Universities. Apart from Control Systems u can try Power, Instrumentation, but it all depends on individual interest.
