sir, i have got air-2554 rank in iit jee 2009 and a score of 327 in bits. according to my predictions,i will be able to get civil in kharagpur,kanpur or roorkee and mechanical or electrical in bits-pilani. which institue should i opt for? please tell me

The good option left with you at IIT is only Civil at IIT Roorkee as it is best among all other IITs but if you go on college BITS Pilani is much better college than IIT roorkee and the branch also you are getting at BITS is far better than civil. As in this time of recession you should opt for better branches Electrical at BITS will be the best option for you and if you want to go on IIT brand name you can go for roorkee which is also a safe option.
