PLEASE READ THE STATEMENT
A comparison of the volume of the filtrate formed per day (180 litres per day) with that of the urine released (1.5 litres), suggest that nearly 99 per cent of the filtrate has to be reabsorbed by the renal tubules.

Hi ! Janvi ,
filtration is drivenby the hydrostatic pressure of the blood and cause water and small molecule to be filter, while blood cell and large molecule like protein do not pass through the filter.
Initial filtrate in the kidneys of a normal adult is 180 L,but amount released is just 2 L,This is because the rest of the filtrate is absorbed by the kidney tubules. The substance present in the initial filtrate after filtration inside Bwman’s Capsule are Glucose,Amino acid and Uric acid.
Hope it’s help you,
All the best !
