Let the third vertex of a triangle be C (h,k).
Other two vertices are A and B.
that is let, (a,b1) and (a, b1+a) respectively.
Area is given therfore,
a^2 = det( | a   b1  1|
                |a b1+a 1|
               |h    k   1| )................(1)
Then apply the distance formulae using coordinates of  the triangle ABC with a as a constant distance b/w them. From there U would get again some other eqns.
