 ye tangent to the curve kisi point par nahin ho sakta as the slope of any tangent to g(x) is 1/(x-1)^2 which is always positive wheras the slope of the line is negative wheras ye normal to g(x) bhi nahin ho sakta as x= 3^1/2+1 does not satis; and also it meets the curve at only one point x=2; hence its neither a chord nor a tangent nor a normal.... hence most suitable answer is d.
