```				   FInd the equation of circle drawn on the intercept on diameter between the axes made by the line 3x+4y=12
```

```										Hi Rahul,
The anwer is :
3x + 4y = 12 or x/4 + y/3 = 1
Thus x intercept of line 3x + 4y = 12 is a = 4
and y intercept of line 3x + 4y = 12 is b = 3
The Intercept length will be root(32 + 42) = 5
Hence Diameter of circle will be 5 , thus radius will be 5/2
Now , Mid-point of Intercept will be ( 4/2 , 3/2 ) or ( 2 , 1.5 )
Hence center point of circle is ( 2 , 1.5 ) and radius is 2.5
Thus eqn of circle will be ( x - 2 )2 + ( y - 1.5 )2  = (2.5)2
Consider the points A (3, 4) and B (4, 13). If ‘P’ be a point on the line y = x such that PA + PB is minimum, then ‘P’ is. A) (13/7,13/7). B). (23/7,23/7) C) (31/7,31/7). D). (33/7,33/7)
Let P be the point as (x, x). then PA = root((x-3)^2 + (x-4)^2)) and PB = root((x-4)^2 + (x-13)^2) PA + PB => root((x-3)^2 + (x-4)^2)) + root((x-4)^2 + (x-13)^2) Now to minimize it the...
im scoring low in parabola tests any suggestions for entire co ordinate geometry??
Hii The most important suggestion for complete geometry is to draw the figure of the questiob before starting it. In this way you will be able to find out the progress of yours in the test.
