The answer is “Infinite”.

The Voltmeter is always connected in parallel from the element whose voltage is to be measured.
The schematic diagram is shown below.

For an ideal voltmeter, all the current should pass through resistance R. It means no current will pass through voltmeter. It is possible only when the resistance of voltmeter is infinite.
