if we solve 1/(\sqrt2 + 1)
we get (\sqrt2 – 1)/2 – 1
 = \sqrt2 –1
 
and now if we solve (\sqrt2 – 1)/1 = \sqrt2 –1
hence we get same common ratio.
thus these terms are in G.P.
first term = a = \sqrt2 +1
now nth term = an = a* rn-1
an = (\sqrt2 +1) . (\sqrt2 – 1)n –1
