Hi Student

There is direct relation for this
PA*PB = PT2
where p is the external point
PT is tangent and PA and PB are secants cutting at A and B repectively

From this relation PT =12 after substituing the values

Hence the length of the tangenth is

  From the relation ....
PA *PB =PT 2
Therefore √16 .√9=12ans.
Hence length of tangent is 12
here pb. Is 9
And pa is 16
