my state rank in b. arch exam is 89. would i get a seat in the nit of my state? also what are the no: of seats in b. arch in nit hamirpur? if the seats are less than 30 then why so many students with just the cutoff of55 above have been callled for counselling? is it possible that with my state rank i can seek admission in b.arch course from any nit in the country? please guide

Hii

You must go for counseling as you never know ubtil its done.Although the chances are thin but they are there.
And regarding other NITs I will only be able to help you if you can provide the me the AIR rank of yours .
