Counselling Procedure for AIEEE :

The counseling procedure is a divided in two step:

1.   First Round of counseling

2.   Second Round of Counseling

 
1.   First Round of Counseling :

                 First Round of Counseling is divided in part of two phases.

1.   Phase 1: OFF Campus Online Counseling( June 23 – June 29 2008 )

2.   Phase 2: On Campus Online Counseling.( July 4 – July 13 2008 )

OFF Campus Online Counseling:

·         The candidates are required to get a result in AIEEE 2008 exam. Then the candidates are able to make choice for selection of branch and colleges by filling form1 via online.

·         You can fill your form1 available at the website http://www.ccb.nic.in.

·         The candidates are required to fill details printed at Admit Card.

·         The Off-Campus counseling will facilitate the selection of the most appropriate discipline, institution and branch at candidate’s rank and in their categories.

·         Form2 can also be filled during off- campus counseling and candidates are free to make a choice for centre for On Campus Counseling

On Campus Online Counseling

·         The eligible candidates are required to report at specified counseling centre with their state of their eligibility and certificates.

·         On Campus Counseling is finished in one day.

Need of Documents

·         Admit Card

·         Original Certificates and Photocopy of documents.(10th, 12th Mark sheet)

·         OBC/SC/ST certificates

·         photograph identical to the one pasted on the AIEEE 2008 application form

Then candidates are required to deposit the fees of 15,000 rupees for OP and OBC and 5,000 rupees for SC/ST candidates. The deposit is to be made through a demand draft in favor of CCB payable at Allahabad.

After filling the choices through ‘Form 1’ and / or ‘Form 2’, the candidate must get the choices locked.

After locking of the choices, the candidates will collect two copies of printouts for each of the choice forms submitted by them. Both copies are to be signed by the candidate and the competent authority at the counseling centre. The same must be verified by the candidate and one copy of each of Form 1 and Form 2 returned to the authorized person at the counseling centre.

Allotment Letter

The candidate is required to download the allotment letter at website www.ccb.nic.in.

Reposting at allotted centre is given by individual colleges according to their convenience.

2.   Second Round of Counseling

The free seats in colleges are filled after completing first round of counseling via second round of counseling during August 2- 4 2008.
