A group of cells that are similar in sturture work together to achieve a particular funtion is knows as Tissue. The types of tissues are -plant tissue and animal tissue .
Plant tisse are of two types -:
  1. meristematic tissue
  2. permanent tissue.
And meristematic tissue are of 3 types .
  1. 1. apical
  2. 2.lateral
  3. 3. intercalary
And permanent tissue are of 2 types.
  1. 1.simple
  2.  2. complex 
Simple tissues are of 3 types .
  1. 1.parenchyma
  2. 2.collenchyma
  3. 3.sclerenchyma
Complex are of 2 types
  1. .1.xylem
  2. 2. phloem
Parenchyma are of 2 types .
  1. aerenchyma
  2. chlorenchyma
Xylem are of 4 types.
  1. vessels 
  2. xylem parenchyma
  3. xylem fiber
  4. pits
phloem are of 4 types.
  1. seive cells
  2. vessels 
  3. phloem parenchyma
  4. phloem sclerenchyma
