Can anyone please assist me on this. Thanks. i can do only the NCERT book problems, when i am given new problems, i find it difficult … please advise.

Hi Vijalakshmi,

The problems what you are facing is absolutely due to lack of practices. The more variety of questions you will solve the more will be clear concept. We suggest you to solve from any books having multiple examples. Our suggestion is to do practice more and more from R.S Aggarwal book for class 8thmathematics.
