Cytoplasm is a thick gelly like material present inside the cell. The cytoplasm is composed of salts ,water ,proteins etc.The cytoplasm is enclosed inside a semi permeable membrane called plasma membrane. All the cell organelles are present in the cytoplasm .As any food material enters the cell ,the cytoplasm shows certain movements which help in the distribution of the food particle inside the cell .CYTOPLASM ALONG WITH THE PLASMA MEMBRANE IS TERMED AS PROTOPLASM .
