this is because some fibres are man made these fibres are referred as syntethic fibres they were made to resemble other natural fibres like silk,cotton,wool,etc.some of these syntetic fibres are rayon acrylic nylon etc

Some fibres are called synthetic fibres as they are produced or derived by synthetic means. some examples are nylon , rayon , caprolactum
