best books for class 10. pradeep pradeep is best for chemistry and biology but refer to sl arora for physics. RD SHARMA for maths and NCERT for Sst and still if problem arises prefer all in one Sst. These books will help you develop reading and understanding topics deeply which will be helpful for your upcoming classes

Best book for maths is Rd Sharma and RS Agarwal for practice and NCERT for exams then for science s Chand for bio ,HC Verma for physics and Bharti bhawan for chemistry and sst .but most importantly you have to read NCERT books line by line for your final exam

For Class 10,
Science → ​S Chand for chemistry and biology and H.C.Verma for physics.
Maths    → R.S. and R.D Sharma
Social    → Best is NCERT

Maths-> Solve NCERT and then look for RD SHARMA or RS AGARWAL(more preferred)
Bio-> First go through NCERT then S.CHAND
Chem-> NCERT then Dinesh or Pradeep or Schand
Physics->solve each and evrev question of NCERT then ho go through HC VERMA class X
Sst-> only NCERT
