can u please elaborate which type of observation type ques u have doubt , just give me the ques are i will get back with the solution , 
in obs. type of ques , the experiment u have to perform in the lab and u need to take the reading and observe the changes coming in reactant and product side . 
and abt the balance of eq. , u need to rmember the following points 
1- always place the reactant in the left side and product to the right side . 
2- u need to add oxidising and reducing agent in the reaction 
3- after that check the ion and count it on both side and make them balance . 
4- and then check if all of the elements are present in the same quantity in the RHS AND LHS or not , if not they try to make them balance , 
after that u will get a balanced equation
