Electromagnetic induction is the phenomenon by which  a changing magnetic flux results in induction of EMF in a conductor which is present within the influence of the changing magnetic flux.
Magnetic flux is given by B.A which is The magnetic field x area x cos theta. (theta is the angle between A and B ) ( A is area, B is magnetic field), when any one of these components changes, then magnetc flux changes and this induces an electric field (EMF) in a conductor/.
