Counselling for COMEDK PGET 2015:

COMEDK PGET 2015The Counselling Procedure for COMEDK PGET 2015 will be centralized and conducted in the month of March 2015 (tentative). The examination authority is COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka). The PGET (Post Graduate Entrance Test) offers admissions to PG courses in Member Institutions of KPCF (Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust).

Through COMEDK PGET 2015, admission to nearly 600 seats for Diploma/MS/MD Courses of twelve Medical and nineteen Dental colleges of Karnataka is carried out. The examination authority via announcement of COMEDK PGET 2015 Counselling Procedure will declare the exact number of Diploma/MS/MD courses that are available for admission. The exam authority has released the rank list of COMEDK PGET 2015 of more than 6,000 students for Diploma/MS/MD courses and more than 2,800 for Dental programs.

Physical presence of all qualified candidates during COMEDK PGET 2015 Counselling is mandatory. During the Counselling Procedure, biometric verification as well as verification of photograph and signature will be carried out. Therefore, there is no chance of proxy registration under any circumstance. Only true bonafide candidates who possess the original documents are allowed for the Counselling Procedure.

Counselling Venue:

The Counselling Venue for COMEDK PGET 2015 is “NMKRV College Mangala Mantapa,” Third block, Near South End Circle, Bangalore – 560011.

Counselling Schedule:

The Counselling Schedule will be updated once the exam authority releases it.

Counselling Fee:

The counselling fee has to be paid via Demand Draft drawn solely from nationalized banks in favor of “COMEDK” payable at Bangalore while simultaneously indicating the TAT (Test Admission Ticket) number. Candidates should draw the DD only from those banks mentioned by the examination authority. DD drawn on an unlisted bank will be rejected.

Highlights of the Counselling Procedure for COMEDK PGET 2015:

  • Submission and verification of all documents (original) and DD (Demand Draft)

  • Candidate Registration: The registration will be complete post verification of Photo ID, photo, signature, and biometrics.

  • Candidates need to register and will be provided a registration slip. Candidates need to fill the details of the DD and three choices about colleges/courses that are available from which they opt during seat selection.

  • The process of registered candidates exercising their option includes selection of 1 seat according to the Merit of COMEDK PGET 2015.

  • Fee Remittance in the form of DD at the bank’s counter and issuance of Allotment Letter.

  • Candidates will not have the ability to change their “seat” post selection during the same round of counselling. Hence, candidates are advised to select seats with utmost care.

  • If a candidate confirms that provisional allotment can’t be surrendered, and if they fail to report to the chosen college within the specified date mentioned in the allotment letter, the paid tuition fees would be forfeited to COMEDK. If a candidate drops the seat either prior to joining college or post joining college, their deposited tuition fee will not be refunded. In addition, there will be a penalty of suspension of registration by MCI/DCI.

  • Candidates can join the college only post issuance of Allotment Letter of seats and subject to their conforming to all the eligibility requirements as specified by MCI/DCI and the concerned universities situated in Karnataka.

Required Documents for Counselling Procedure for COMEDK PGET 2015:

  • Only original documents and 1 set of attested photocopies of all documents need to be submitted compulsorily at counselling time. Candidates should ensure that they have sufficient photocopies of the submitted original documents for future use.

  • Rank Card of COMEDK PGET 2015

  • TAT Card of COMEDK PGET 2015

  • Class 10 Mark sheet and Passing Certificate or Transfer Certificate for proof of date of birth

  • MBBS or BDS (All Mark Sheets)

  • Original photo identity produced during examination time. Candidates must note that no other photo identity will be accepted.

  • Tuition fee for first year payable by DD (Demand Draft) in favour of “COMEDK,” indicating the Test Admission Ticket (TAT) number thereon, which is payable at Bangalore drawn from a nationalized bank.

  • Permanent or Provisional Degree Certificate

  • Permanent or Provisional Central/State Council Registration Certificate

  • Attempt Certificate (only if applicable)

  • Internship Completion Certificate or Certificate for Completion Date of Internship signed duly by the Head of Institution last attended in cases where candidates have not yet completed their internship at the beginning of the Counselling Procedure. Candidates would be given the ability to select seats only on completion of internship on or before 30th April 2015.

  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories (All India) and OBC (State of Karnataka) must submit the requisite certificates.
