Test Structure and Scoring of UPTU SEE
UPTU SEE exam has 12 papers in all. Candidates have to appear for papers according to the courses they aspire for. The questions asked in UPTU SEE are objective and multiple-choice type. Each question is of 4 marks each. There is no negative marking at UPTU SEE. Number of questions asked in each paper is given below:
Physics & Chemistry Paper has equal weightage on both the subjects and has 150 questions in all.
Mathematics exam has 75 questions.
Biology has 75 questions with equal weightage to Botany & Zoology.
The paper of Agriculture has 150 questions in all with equal weightage given to Agriculture Physics & Agriculture Chemistry (Part I) and Agriculture Engineering & Statistics (Part II).
Agronomy & Agriculture (Part III) has 75 questions.
Part A in Aptitude Test for Architecture covers Aesthetic Sensitivity while Part B covers Drawing Aptitude. It has 50 objective type questions and 2 questions of 50 marks each to test drawing aptitude.
Aptitude Test for General Awareness (BHMCT/BFAD) has 75 questions.
Aptitude Test for MBA has 125 questions.
Aptitude Test for MCA has 100 questions.
Aptitude Test for Diploma Holders in Engineering or Pharmacy or B.Sc. Graduates has 75 questions each.
UPTU SEE Exam Fees
Application form for UPTU SEE 2009 is available for Rs 1000/- for General and OBC category candidates while SC/ST candidates and female candidates of all categories will have to pay only Rs 500/- for it. Candidates will have to pay additional fee of Rs 500/- at the time of counseling, which is non-refundable.
