UPSEE Result 2014: Know all about UPTU Entrance Exam Result 2014!

GBTU will be conducting UPSEE 2014 to screen candidates seeking admission to colleges affiliated to UPTU on April 19 and 20, 2014. Tentatively, UPTU result will be declared on June 5, 2014.

UPSEE Entrance Exam Result 2014 here! Selections are made purely on the basis of merit. Depending on their UPSEE result, students can seek in B.Tech (engineering & technology courses), B.Pharm (pharmacy courses), B.Arch (architecture courses), Fashion Designing, MBA and MCA courses. UPTU MBA result 2014 is declared for only those students who appear for the online exam. 

As soon as UPSEE results are declared, merit list for the exam will be released. UPSEE merit lists will be prepared separately for each category. Within each category, separate merit lists will be declared for various courses. 

 Do note that only those students will be included in the UPTU or GBTU merit lists who score more than the UPTU cutoff percentage declared for 2014. General category students have to score at least 25% marks while SC/ST category students have to score at least 20% marks to be included in the merit list.

Students will have to download their UPTU rank card and keep it safe forever. It will carry their section-wise scores, aggregate scores, category rank and overall rank. This page will be updated with more information on UPSEE results, UPTU merit list and UPSEE 2014 rank card, as soon as they are available on the official website.

 What if there is a tie in UPTU entrance result 2014? 

To break the tie between students scoring equal marks in UPTU entrance exam result 2014, higher rank is given to candidate with least wrong answers. 

In UPTU B.Tech result 2014, tie-resolution method varies with the engineering stream a student chooses:

  • For general B.Tech courses and B.Tech in Biotechnology, preference is given to students who have more marks in Maths. If tie still exists, student with more marks in Chemistry will get higher rank. If the tie is still not broken, student with more marks in Physics will get a higher rank. Finally, student who is older will be given higher rank to break the tie.
  • For B.Tech in Agricultural engineering, marks obtained in AG-I, AG-II, and AG-III in Paper 3 of the exam are considered in that order. Here too, the last step would be to give higher rank to candidate who is older.
