Check out this page after you take EAMCET exam to know the latest info on EAMCET counselling 2016 dates and procedure.

EAMCET Counselling Procedure Step-by-Step

Step 1: Certificate Verification

Students must report at the Help Line Centers (HLCs) as per the rank-wise 2016 EAMCET counselling schedule mentioned on the official EAMCET website. There, they have to pay the processing fee, obtain a receipt for it and collect the Registration-cum-Verification form from the Registration Counter. One must check that the mobile number printed in the form is correct or not.

Students need to submit the original copies of the following documents:

  • Hall ticket and rank card

  • Mark sheet of SSC/ Intermediate or equivalent examination

  • Study/Bonafide Certificate from Class III to Class X  and SSC/ Intermediate or equivalent (10+2) exam

  • Caste certificate for SC/ST/BC and Minorities candidates

  • Income Certificate issued by MRO after January 1 of the year of admission to be submitted for candidates claiming fee exemption

  • PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable)

  • For Anglo-Indians, a certificate issued by the RDO/Asst. Collector of their place of Residence is a must.

  • Transfer Certificate

After students have registered, they need to collect a scratch card, which will have their Login ID number, password, date of birth and Hall Ticket Number. This scratch card will be required for web entry.

Once the documents of a student are verified, HLCs issue Receipt of Certificates to students.

Step 2: EAMCET Web Counselling

From this year, students will be able to exercise their web option entry right in the helpline centres after their certificates are verified. These changes have been made in view of the problems students of rural areas face as they have little access to computers.

Only parents (with valid identity cards) will be allowed to enter the Helpline Centres with their wards. Once students have indicated their preferences for colleges and courses, they will have to sign in a register.

Students will have to be extra careful in exercising their options this year as they might not get extra time to ponder over them and lock them later.

Step 3: Allotment of Seats

Once the seats are finally allotted, students can download the allotment order and the bank challan from the official website on the dates specified in EAMCET counselling notification 2016. They will need their Receipt of Certificates and the scratch card to log in to the website.

Students can also get bank challans from the HLCs.

Step 4: Payment of Fee and Reporting to College

After EAMCET counseling, students need to pay the prescribed fee at the Andhra Bank or Indian Bank and collect the receipt.

Then, they need to report at the allotted college on the date given in the allotment order. If students do not report at the allotted college on the given date, their seats will be cancelled.

Students will need to check their EAMCET councelling dates, according to their ranks.

In EAMCET 2016, rank-wise EAMCET counseling date schedule was as follows:

  • August  2016: Counseling of students with ranks between 1 to 50,000

  • September 2016: Counseling of students with ranks between 50,001 to 1,00,000

  • September, 2016: Counseling of students with ranks between 1,00,001 to Last

  • September , 2016: Web option entry dates for students with ranks between 1 to 40,000

  • September , 2016: Web option entry dates for students with ranks between 40,001 to 80,000

  • September , 2016: Web option entry dates for students with ranks between 80,001 to 1,20,000

  • September, 2016: Web option entry dates for students with ranks between 1,20,001 to 1,60,000
