Lines of Appreciations (Why should I buy this book?)

Apart from providing the basic understanding of the concepts, this book emphasizes on the language used. The book is written in a simple language which is easy to understand. Students can use this book right after 10th grade. Concepts of Periodicity has been explained really well in this book,

The "s-block" and "p-block" elements are the best part of the book. The concepts of these topics have been covered comprehensively and cater to the demands for IIT JEE, AIEEE and other state level engineering examination preparation.

One of the best parts of the foreign author's book is that the authenticity of the matter is impeccable and is therefore held high even as a reference book.

Room for improvements (Why should I keep away from this book?)

The book has not been written with the competitive examinations point of view so the student needs to refer the syllabus while studying this book.

One liner: A brilliant book for Inorganic Chemistry which should be read by the students.

Review By Siddharth
I have used this book intensively during my preparation for JEE.This book is really a complete package for mastering inorganic. So students need to realise what to study and which part to omit. This book has been written keeping in mind the students of postgraduation in U.S.A.So please use it selectively not exhaustively.
* Best book for IIt-JEE Inorganic Chemistry
Review By Nishant
JD Lee Organic Chemistry ,i think this is the only book which can be read without much difficulty, after finishing my 10th boards i started preparing on my own. Luckily i was aware of this book, just to get on to the platform i use to read it before going to bed. I was never interested in IIT JEE thinking it to be a tough process, heavy books, complicated language use to confuse me but after reading JD LEE for 6 months i realized its not so difficult to prepare for any exam if you are determined. It was my confidence in Organic Chemistry that motivated me to prepare further. This book is really good for Inorganic Chemistry. It is my favorite book.
