Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNIT Allahabad), also known as NIT Allahabad is an engineering institution established in 1961. It currently has accreditation from AICTE, NBA, INI. Admission Process for NIT Allahabad

The JoSSA conducts the counselling sessions and shortlists the candidates for this institution every year. MNIT Allahabad offers B.Tech courses in 9 disciplines/specialisations namely, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Production & Industrial Engineering. To get admission in any of the B.Tech courses students must:

  • Have passed the Class 12 (10+2) examination with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

How will MNIT Allahabad 2022 Cut Off be decided? 

 

There are several factors that can affect the cut-off of B.Tech courses in 2022. You will find an opening rank and a closing rank associated with the course you want to apply to. You must understand that the opening rank is the maximum rank allowed for admission in a course while the closing rank is the minimum rank allowed for admission in a course. 

 

  • Factors like numbers of appearing candidates, total numbers of seats, the difficulty level of the examination, and last year’s admission record.
  • Cut off marks are applicable to only those candidates who have qualified the JEE Main 2022. It means that you cannot take admission into the B.Tech courses without qualifying JEE Main 2022. 
  • The closing/last rank for a particular college will be based on the total number of seats in a college with the total number of candidates appearing in JOSSA 2022 Counselling.
  • The category of the candidate also matters in getting admission in a particular course. 

 

In all, there are five determining factors that are considered for admission in an NIT:
