Evaluation and Declaration of AIEEE'11 Results
Different rank lists will be prepared for B.E/ B. Tech and B. Planning/B. Arch. courses, based on the performance of candidates in
AIEEE 2011 Results. Score cards for
AIEEE 2011 Results containing All-India Rank and State Rank in
AIEEE 2011 Results stating the total marks obtained and the marks obtained in individual subjects will be sent to all the candidates who have appeared for AIEEE- 2011.
All the candidates scoring above a certain cut off percentage of marks in Results AIEEE 2011 (which would be different for General, OBC, SC/ST/PH category candidates) would be shortlisted and called for AIEEE counseling . This AIEEE cut-off would be determined at the time of declaration of AIEEE Results 2011.Candidates already kow the expected cut-offs for AIEEE, but the real ones would be known only after AIEEE 2011 Results.The All-India and the State Rank to be called for the Central Counseling will be decided by the Central Counseling Board constituted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, at the time of AIEEE Results 2011.
In accordance with the notified cut off score and the candidates declared eligible up to the specified rank shall be called to appear for counseling.
In instances of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks, the relative merit of the two would be determined on the basis of the following grounds:
B.E./ B. Tech- through marks obtained in Mathematics and then in Physics in the AIEEE, and then by age with preference given to the older candidates.
B. Arch/ B. Planning: through marks obtained in the aptitude test and then in Mathematics in the AIEEE and then by age with preference given to the older candidates.
