IIT GUWAHATI ANNUAL FEST 2010
IIT Guwahati brings you the EXTREME edition of its annual fest the ALCHERINGA-2010 full of vivacity, zeal and excitement. Alcheringa is one of the most spectacular events in the North-East and is getting bigger with the years. This event brings you to heavenly performances, exciting contests and a celestial environment to make it a memorable event.
Alcheringa  2010 is being held from  5th Feb to 7th Feb and many colleges from all over India are participating in its events.The most awaited event is the performance of Shankar, Ehsaan & Loy.Tushar Raheja ,the famous novelist,author of the bestseller “Anything for you Ma’am” is also attending the function along with the famous comedian Vir Dasand.For Rock music fans there is a biggest showdown between rockbands from all over India and competitions for dance and choreography like Electric Heels will present amazing performances throughout. The Hot Couture for the fashion freaks will blaze the stage with their own creations.for the singers there is a competition called Unplugged.
Along with the Alcheringa, the Literary fest Alfaaz of IIT-Guwahati will be held.other than the events mentioned above there are more like the Two Steps, Crush, MTV Stunt Mania, Alcher Roadies and many more in line to set a frenzy in the crowd. Alcheringa is an event that should be missed by anyone.
