CEE Examination Pattern and Duration of the Exam

CEE is a single stage examination. The duration of Delhi CEE exams is 3 hours or 180 minutes. There are 180 objective-type and multiple-choice questions to answer overall, so roughly candidates have only a minute to solve each question. There are 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Syllabus for Delhi CEE is same as CBSE syllabus specified for Class XI and XII. However, the level of questions is usually high.

Scoring of Delhi CEE

Each question in Delhi CEE carries 4 marks. There is negative marking too. One mark is deducted for wrong answers. No marks are awarded or deducted for questions that have not been attempted.

Where are exams held?

Examination Centers for DCE and NSIT entrance examination invariably lie within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Delhi CEE Exam Fees

The cost of Bulletin of Information for Delhi CEE includes examination fee and is not refundable.

For General students, OBC students, and Children or War Widows of Defence personnel killed or disabled in action, the fee is Rs 400/-.
For SC, ST and Physically Handicapped students, the fee is Rs 200/-.
There are additional charges of Rs 75/- for postal orders.
How many times you can give the Delhi CEE exam?

Applicants can appear for Delhi CEE exams as many times as they like until they fulfill the age requirements or are 25 years of age on 1st of October in the current year.

Are calculators allowed?

Calculators are allowed for students writing Delhi Combined Entrance Examination. However, scientific calculators are not allowed inside the examination center.
